No one hates themselves, this is a lie from the psychological community. They believe what they say because they have been fed these lies from the devil.
Just like the devil told Eve in the garden that she could be like God, our culture it training people to love themselves more than they love anyone else or God.
Every person is born loving themselves, there is no need to help them love themselves more.
A child who says "I hate myself" is not expressing the truth, they are only expressing their pride that they are not getting what they want.
Often the phrase "I hate myself" is a manipulation for attention rather than the truth.
Ephesians 5:29 "29 Indeed, no one ever hated his own body, but he nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church. "
If a person hated themselves because they thought they were ugly, they would be glad they are ugly. It is human nature to wish bad on those we hate. But the person who thinks they are ugly are unhappy about that because they believe they deserve better. They do not hate themselves as they claim or they would be happy that they were ugly.
