Since we know this and have to endure its effects every day as we hear news stories on the side of the criminal, our response ought to be one of prayer.
There is nothing to be gained by fighting it, its a monster too big for righteous human beings to handle. This is the job of God to either allow it for His purposes or resolve it.
Romans 12:19
"Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
Our job is to speak the gospel to unbelievers and truth to the believers to grow in holiness.
2 Timothy 4:1-3 "1 I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires.…"
We know as born again believers we can obey God no matter what is going on around us, however, we may have to take some flack for it.
Do not lose heart but take glory in the fact that we are born again and that our Lord is coming for us soon!
