Modern science is based on "Darwinism" which is that people are nothing more than evolved animals. Since the modern scientist does not believe the Bible with the exception of only a few, they think animals will give us the answer. God said "each after its own kind", meaning we are made genetically different from animals. Of course, many things modern science does are not based on the Bible so they are going to get a lot of things wrong.
This is the reason many experiments on animals to find solutions for humans will not be accurate and possibly even detrimental to the human body.
Since the world is dominated by hedonistic people for the most part many of their answers to life are going to be wrong.
