There are many concoctions of man that have infiltrated the church that are not found in Scripture. It is astounding how so many people believe ideas from Pentecostalism and Catholicism that have no basis in Scripture at all, but those who have been taught these things will adamantly hold onto them without testing them through the scripture.
"Pleading the blood of Christ" over situations and things is just another Pentecostal way of "claiming things" from God.
The power in the blood of Jesus has to do with salvation. "Saying" words about the blood is not a magical thing causing things to happen.
1 Peter 1:18-19
"18 knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ."
Hebrews 9:22 "22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness."
Matthew 26:28
"for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."
Nowhere in the Word of God will you find a passage to "plead the blood" over situations or objects or people for safety or help.
1 John 1:7
"but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin."
No one in the Bible pleads the blood of Jesus for the sake of His power over something.
Again, this is a Pentecostal concoction that is not Biblical.
Seek the Bible, read carefully every verse pertaining to your question and you will be shocked at how much you were taught that is not true.
