Sort of seems like it was app repo to place the phrase on American money; "in God we trust", since money itself has become the God of America! Just saying!
Christians are fighting with the government over money while families become unhinged fighting over the inheritance of their parents when they didn't even like them or treat them respectfully.
God will not save anyone from hell who doesn't want Him. Only those who love the Lord Jesus Christ and have been born-again will have God's inheritance. The same should be said for those adult children who do not love or care for their aging parents. It makes no sense to leave an inheritance to those who want no part of us while we are alive.
Leaving an inheritance to bratty adult children does not make them like Jesus, it only solidifies their entitlement mentality that they can be as hateful as they want and still get the goods.
Inheritance in human terms is not about manipulating children to love Jesus Christ, it is a demonstration that the children remained faithful to the end. Those who remain will have an inheritance, those who leave and never come back will not have an inheritance.
Believers have to stop thinking "being nice" will win people to Christ. You can be sacrificial and loving and those who are hard-hearted will remain that way no matter what you do because it is who they are in their character.
If children loved their parents they wouldn't care if they are left an inheritance, they would only care that they treated their parents with honor and blessed them with love in their aging years.
Those who think leaving money to rebellious children will cause the children to love God and them are placing way too much importance on money. If it takes money to win the children then it is not real love from the children.
1 Timothy 6:10
"10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
