No Shame Over Arrogance

When someone surrounds themselves with superficial people who always praise to remain friends they will never grow in holiness.
In the family of Christ, we are called to encourage one another in holiness using the Word of God as evidence of what we should all be doing.
Hebrews 12:14-15
"14 Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
15 See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many become defiled;"
Colossians 3:16
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God."
Hebrews 3:13
"But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin."
Hebrews 10:24
"And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds."
If we love one another we will teach and correct one another from God's Word. In our day most people who say they are Christians become angry when we correct them. Since most are pretenders they do not have the conviction of the Holy Spirit to compel them to admit their sin or even feel shame over it.
Jeremiah 6:15
"15 Were they ashamed because of the abomination they had done?
They were not ashamed at all,
Nor did they know even how to be ashamed.
Therefore they will fall among those who fall;
At the time that I punish them,
They will collapse,” says the Lord."
