Luke Warm and Angry People

It is common now for "Christian" relatives to refuse to listen to God's Word. They have a form of religion but are angry at those who adhere to the Bible. They reject anyone who corrects them and hate everyone who will not play their superficial games of religiosity.

Most modern Christians are very proud of who they think they are but are full of dead mens' bones.

Revelation 3:15-17 "…16 So because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to vomit you out of My mouth! 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have grown wealthy and need nothing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked. "

Full of and depending on ritual and superficial outward appearances the modern church is filled with pretenders. Those who think they are going to heaven and difficult to reach with the real gospel.

Matthew 7:21-23

I Never Knew You

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’

23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"

When we realize this is what we are dealing with we can remove those who refuse to hear us and depend on the Holy Spirit to show us what is next for us.

We are waiting for that time when it will all be over and Chris will call us home to the marriage supper of the Lamb.
