Paganism and Christianity do not Mix

Those who are divisive are those who add paganism to their Christianity and defend it. It is one thing to celebrate things God never commanded and quite another to defend them as though they had anything to do with Christ.
If we were going to celebrate Christ's birth, we would let go of all the decorations, gifts, and almost everything else. But God never told us to celebrate the birth, He told us to celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ as Savior. Notice the Lord's Supper is almost completely ignored by most Christians but the man-made holidays are embraced with great enthusiasm.
Acts 2:42
"And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers."
1 Corinthians 11:20-34 describes the mandate from Christ to celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ every time we come together.
Why do so many people who say they are Christians enjoy the man-made holiday so vigorously and ignore what Christ commanded in His Word? Just asking!
