How Narcissists Use SELF-AWARENESS as a Manipulation Tactic

It is clear to me that those who try to change themselves are still self-focused. It is Christ Who must change our heart and we must want Him to do it. Pride is involved in the need to "appear" like they are changing in their own power, it brings them accolades, this is their goal. When Christ changes us we cannot be proud of ourselves, rather we are humbled knowing our inability to change ourselves, we give all the credit to Christ. It is better to allow God to change us, then we will not have to tell people we have changed, people will see it without a word from us.
