No One Who Has Been Changed by Christ Could Ever Be Prideful About Their Own Goodness

Luke 7:47 "For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but the one who is forgiven little, loves little.”

Those who remain proud of how good they think they are may not be born again. No one who has been changed into a new creation by Christ knowing what they were before He changed them, could ever be proud of themselves.

Proverbs 11:2
"When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom."

James 4:10
"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you."
