Living for Christ in the Midst of a Wicked Generation

God made it clear that we are not to be like those who are rude, stubborn, and mean-spirited. If we return meanness for meanness, we have become like them.

 
We can correct, or remain silent and we can walk away and keep our distance, but we should never use their tactics to intimidate them the way they tried to intimidate us.

 
Born-again believers are not about controlling others or forcing others; we are about God's love, purpose, and His control over us. And, we must make decisions that help us walk more closely with God, even if it means removing ourselves from those who do not live lives that reflect a love for Christ.

 
It is amazing how much chaos and trouble rebellious people can cause merely by our responses. May every believer be guided continually by the Holy Spirit so that we do not become like those who hate Him.

Proverbs 4:23 "23 Watch over your heart with all diligence,
For from it flow the springs of life."

We can't change anyone else, but Christ can protect and change us into His image.
