Following the Culture can Lead to Hell

The way we grow up shapes our entire lives unless we question those ways and learn from God through the scriptures the right way to think.

When we are in Christ we don't measure what we do or how we think by the opinions of others, we measure them by the mind of Christ.

Many people if not most, hang on tightly to the way they were raised. They don't question the meaning of the things they were taught. They don't ponder the deeper things to discover the truth.

When we allow others to do our thinking for us we will be easily manipulated by the culture around us. We can be guilted into thinking we did something wrong when God's word told us to obey Him His way. Those who are not interested in obeying the word of God will attach our character to discredit us. They did it to the prophets and they will do it to bold born again believers too.

When we are weak in our spirit depending on the validation of others we will easily give in to the culture around us.

We can see what that leads to by how adamantly the culture as a whole has rejected Christ. Even those who say they are "Christians" are incensed at the suggestion that they are not thinking Biblically. Many Christians have gone with their culture instead of Christ and have learned the ways of the devil instead of obeying God.

When we share our wisdom from God's word it is often met with sideways stares and mean looks, even anger in the one who is hearing it.

There is great joy in knowing Christ and living for Him His way. When we do this our conscience and love of Christ is far more comforting than the approval of those who are in bondage to the culture.

Proverbs 1:6-7 "…6 and to understand the proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. 7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline."

Proverbs 4:13-15 "…13 Hold on to instruction; do not let go. Guard it, for it is your life. 14 Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men. 15 Avoid it; do not travel on it. Turn from it and pass on by."

Friends Do Not Rage

If a friend rages at you because you used the Bible to correct them, they were never your friend. Friends who love you do not rage at you, they listen, even considering what you have said.

We live in a "ragingly insane" world right now as described in 2 Timothy 3. Nothing in relationships will be easy from here on out. The culture has been trained to be completely selfish and resistant to correction.

Judges 17:5-6 "…5 Now this man Micah had a shrine, and he made an ephod and some household idols and ordained one of his sons as his priest. 6 In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes."

We live in our country now as though there is no governing authority to stop rioting, but one that will close down places of worship for the born again believer.

God is allowing this because of the apostasy in these churches, however it is irrational on the part of the authorities and it is orchestrated by the devil as he controls the minds of unbelievers.

In these last days, God is allowing the devil to have his head right before the rapture and far worse after the rapture during the tribulation.

Those who have trusted Christ will be going home to the marriage supper of the Lamb before literally, all hell breaks loose on this planet. You have never seen a horror movie as terrible as it will be on earth soon.

Revelation 9:9-11 "…9 They also had thoraxes like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the roar of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10 They had tails with stingers like scorpions, which had the power to injure people for five months. 11 They were ruled by a king, the angel of the Abyss. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek it is Apollyon.…"

The ruler of the devils who will do these terrible things is Satan himself. These terrible stinging locusts will be demons. We sense them in the world today, those who are born again can discern a devil in their midst even if they cannot see him.

The unsaved person's mind is controlled by the devil, but the unsaved think they are having their own thoughts and even that those devilish thoughts are good.

Isaiah 5:20
"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!"

2 Timothy 4:3
"For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,"

The world no longer endures anything that might be a direction from God, not even in most churches today. Their traditions are based on human desires, not on God's Word and they love them so much they are unwilling to consider their ways as not being from God.

The only way to survive this time is for the Holy Spirit of God to be sought after continually. Even born again believers can be deceived and confused.

Matthew 24:23-25 "…23At that time, if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it. 24For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders that would deceive even the elect, if that were possible. 25See, I have told you in advance.…"

I am confident that this passage applies to those who "say" they are Christians but have never been born again. They will say many right things and even live what appear to be good lives but they have never trusted in Christ.

Matthew 7:21-23 "21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"

Now is the time to evaluate self, asking the Lord if you are truly born again by the Spirit of Christ.

Democrats and Devils One and the Same

Democrats will be the ones inviting in the enemies to overtake our country, at least from what I have seen. They are the enemy looking to overthrow our government. We have basically been overthrown already since the Democrats control things and they are dismantling the Constitution by ignoring it. A document cannot be effective unless the authorities are actually following it.

This is true of the Bible too, most "professing Christians" are not following the Bible, they are using it for ideas that they twist to say what they want it to say. When challenged that they have misunderstood God using His own words they become ragingly angry. Even to the point of accusing believers as having a wretched character.

When we are accused of bad character for brining in the Bible to prove a principle we can be sure the accuser is describing themselves. We should not be intimidated by this, but we do need to stay away from these people. They are divisive and stubborn.

2 Corinthians 6:16-18 "…16 What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” 17 “Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” 18 And: “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”…"

Difficult No; Ragingly Insane Yes!

2 Timothy 3:1-7
"1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.
6 For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses,
7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."

Veres 1: Difficult meaning "ragingly insane" in the original language.

"Difficult" in the English language does not come close to describing what is going on right now in the entire world.

Its as though most people except born again believers have lost their minds without the ability to think rationally and for themselves.

Proverbs 29:8-10 "…8 Mockers inflame a city, but the wise turn away anger. 9 If a wise man goes to court with a fool, there will be raving and laughing with no resolution. 10 Men of bloodshed hate a blameless man, but the upright care for his life.…"

Let Go of Those Warn Out Dead Traditions!

Many people depend on their "pastor" or attending at a building for their spirituality.

When we are born again we can be creative and meet other places, our homes, our barns our sheds anywhere that believers want to gather. For a time, many years ago a Brethren assembly we knew met in the back of a dog kennel.

The brothers and sisters enjoyed the sounds of barking dogs through their worship but it was not a problem because their focus was Christ.

The day we realize our spirituality does not come from a one-man pastor or a special kind of building to meet in is when we understand that Christ lives in us and we can gather with one another anywhere at any time. Then is when we understand that Christ is the center of our worship and not traditions or "special people with titles", then we are free, truly free in Christ.

If you want to be free to worship in Spirit and Truth let go of all man-made traditions that only stifle the moving of the Holy Spirit.

John 8:36 "36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

Flattery a Subtle Killer of Rational Thinking

Flattery is disarming, it is for the purpose of control over the one being flattered. Encouragement is very different, it leads us in the right direction for our welfare and God's glory!

Proverbs 29:5
"A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his feet."

Proverbs 26:24-28
"Whoever hates disguises himself with his lips and harbors deceit in his heart; when he speaks graciously, believe him not, for there are seven abominations in his heart; though his hatred be covered with deception, his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly. Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling. A lying tongue hates its victims, and a flattering mouth works ruin."
