Encouragement is not Praise

Encouragement is not praise!

When we encourage a runner in a race, we don't praise him for how far he has come, we spur him on to go further.

We have been praising "Ad Nauseam" this generation while building up pride that is unshakable in them. This generation is becoming more hardened than ever in their hearts because of this.

Proverbs 16:17-19 "…17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil; He who watches his way preserves his life. 18 Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before stumbling. 19 It is better to be humble in spirit with the lowly Than to divide the spoil with the proud.…"

Jeremiah 18:12
"But they will say, 'It's hopeless! For we are going to follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.'"

Matthew 13:15 "Matthew 13:15
Verse Concepts
FOR THE HEART OF THIS PEOPLE HAS BECOME DULL, WITH THEIR EARS THEY SCARCELY HEAR, AND THEY HAVE CLOSED THEIR EYES, OTHERWISE THEY WOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES, HEAR WITH THEIR EARS, AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART AND RETURN, AND I WOULD HEAL THEM.'"

John 5:40-42 "…40 yet you refuse to come to Me to have life. 41 I do not accept glory from men, 42 but I know you, that you do not have the love of God within you.…"

For all those who refuse to hear the Lord, repent from this hardness of heart before it is too late.

Hebrews 3:15 "15 As it has been said: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as you did in the rebellion.”
