Narcissists Want to Sabotage

Narcissists always sabotage any open and honest dialogue to prevent solutions to relationship problems.

Relationship problems are food for the narcissist, they love it when drama continues, even over the silliest things. If they can get us to be upset over which cup we used for the coffee, they will gain a sense of superiority and control that they were able to unnerve their target.

We see more of this all the time as we slide into the 2 Timothy 3 scenario. We are observing this dynamic in these end times, the intensity of hostility toward one another over the smallest slight or their perception that there was a slight, so much so that the honest and open person is left feeling as though they have been hit by a truck not knowing how it could have happened, as the narcissist rages at nothing, thinking they have something to rage about.

Narcissists are never about truth and mutual cooperation, but only and completely about control. Frustrating others is their highest goal, to elevate themselves. This mentality comes straight from the devil and his minions, who are busy ruining relationships and spiritual progress as much as is possible for them.

The good news is that we can be aware of their tactics and learn to avoid them. If we cannot avoid them we can learn how to thwart their tactics through prayer and scripture study. Knowing what they are is 80% of the battle. We cannot fight the enemy if we don't know what the enemy is doing.

It is true that knowledge is power, when we know what the aim is for the narcissist we can avoid playing their games. Calmness of Spirit can be ours everyday no matter what the narcissist is doing. When we see ourselves becoming weary, then is when we withdraw to refill our Spiritual battery to begin again when we are full.

John 6:55-59 "
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

"And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers."

The more time we spend with the Lord in obedience, the greater our power to resist the wiles of the devil.
