Never Grow Weary of Walking with Christ

To grow weary of being kind just because others are unkind is to be focused on the result instead of Christ. It does not matter how others respond to our love; it only matters that we maintain the love of Christ. Our character growth is at stake, and our witness of Christ is more important than how others react to us.

I never weary of being what God meant me to be, which is loving, kind, and the rest of the fruit of Christ. I just remove myself from those who do not understand and hate what I am.

It doesn't matter how others act toward me; it only matters how I choose to act, and that is walking in the Spirit of Chris,t even when no one else is doing it.

This is a hard lesson; it means taking our pride and desire to be liked completely out of the equation, focusing entirely on Christ.

Romans 8:14: "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God"
Galatians 5:16: "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh"

John 15:5: "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he is bearing much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing"

Galatians 5:22-23 "22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."
