So many people are excited about "signs" of any kind, because they lack faith.
2 Corinthians 5:6-8 "…6 Therefore we are always confident, although we know that while we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, then, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.…"
Also many people want to be elevated in the eyes of others so they "dream up a dream" or have a real one and pretend it means something to be able to "Wow", others.
When we walk by faith we are delighted at what Christ does in us every day, there is no need for signs that make us excited. The joy of the Lord is enough and trusting Him for every day is always pleasing.
