The World Despises Christ so it Despises Us Too

When you feel alone and despised by others remember what God said; it isn't about us, it's about the mentality of the world that condemns us.

John 15:17-19 "17 This is My command to you: Love one another. 18 If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first. 19 If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.…"

Proverbs 29:27

"An unjust man is detestable to the righteous, and one whose way is upright is detestable to the wicked."

Isaiah 66:5

"5 Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at His word:

“Your brothers who hate you, who exclude you on account of My name,

Have said, ‘Let the Lord be glorified, so that we may see your joy.’

But they will be put to shame."

Those who love the world and elevate themselves will taunt believers hoping they will fall and be ashamed, but it is the worldly people who will be put to shame.

Those who love themselves above everyone and everything that is holy will be exposed by those who love the Lord. We can see what they are doing and it has no effect on us but keeps them trapped in sadness, gloom and anger.

John 7:7

"The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me, because I testify that its works are evil."

The world attacks us, not because of us, but because of Christ Who lives in us. Let Him carry the burden, let Him be our strength.
